Why Eyoria exists.
The problem
Cats evolved to ignore still water.
Unlike dogs, cats descended from desert-dwelling ancestors with a naturally weak thirst drive. In the wild, they got most of their hydration from prey. Domesticated cats still carry that instinct — they simply don't feel the urge to drink from a bowl of still water.
The result is silent, chronic dehydration. Over time, it leads to kidney disease — the leading cause of death in cats over seven. Most owners never notice until it's too late. We started Eyoria because we believed there had to be a better way.

The approach
Designed around instinct, not convenience.
Moving water triggers a cat's natural drinking reflex — an instinct inherited from thousands of years of seeking flowing streams. The Eyoria fountain mimics that movement in a way that feels natural, not mechanical.
We chose 304 food-grade stainless steel because plastic harbors bacteria. We made it wireless because cords limit where you can place it. And we engineered the pump to run at under 30dB — quieter than a whisper — because your cat's comfort matters more than our spec sheet.
